YT Triz

YT Triz, hailing from Orlando, FL, is a young and hungry rapper trying to do something right with his life. He is a writer & lyricist that tells real stories. He is trying to leave a legacy in the music industry, by his own admission. YT Triz has been tearing up stages all over Florida and beyond. He is currently on his way to being the next hot hip-hop sensation signed to Poe Boy Music Group in Miami.

For people that might think YT Triz has just started this movement, he hasn’t. He started rapping for fun when he was just 10 but now at the age of 23 YT Triz raps in a different place for different reasons. It's not just for fun any more.

YT Triz got his big break when he met Big Chuck at Poe Boy's studio in early 2013; he performed live with no mic or anything. He didn’t know at the time, but Big Chuck saw something in him. Later that year YT Triz got a call from Poe Boy Studios later saying, "Come down and get in the studio." It's been history ever since.

When asked who was his inspiration, YT Triz replied, "My mom has always been my inspiration, she always had a lot of faith and belief in God, she let me know that anything is possible through him. I took that trait and a dream, and ran with it." When asked what makes his music different, YT Triz says "My music is different because I'm telling real life stories and giving the people these real life situations that they might be able to identify with versus just rapping about fashion, cars, and money all the time".

YT Triz is currently focusing on taking everything one step at a time, and just keeping his mind on recording, performing, and learning. He has several favorite tracks on his upcoming mixtape that represent real stories that he wanted to share with people who would listen and understand.

YT Triz just released his ‘Independence Day’ mixtape on July 4th, 2015. The project features appearances from Verse Simmonds and Caskey and features production from Freeway TJay, Jumpman Tha Truth, The Avengerz, VVS Society and D-Roc On The Track. One month earlier on Memorial Day Weekend 2015, YT Triz released his ‘Dysfunctional’ mixtape which features the single “Vamonos” with Rick Ross and Lil’ Wayne and production from J Rock and Timbaland. The project has over 75,000 streams/downloads since its release.

In September 2014, YT Triz released his first mixtape as an artist on Poe Boy Music Group entitled ‘Tales From Crime Hill’ which featured the breakout single “How Can I Lose” with Bobby Shmurda. The mixtape gained over 100,000 downloads in the first month of it’s release. The video for the single has over 4 million views on Youtube.

In the next 5 years from now YT Triz expects to be a well-established and well-paid artist dominating the music industry and then some. YT Triz is quoted as saying, "I will be remembered for speaking up, representing, and telling the stories of the "Have Not’s" straight up."
