Still working on that hot first release.

On May 27th, I released my debut album, Ember, on Deadplant Records. I recorded it after the ending of a two year long relationship. I essentially locked myself in my basement for a month to write, record, mix, and master the 12 songs that comprise the album. I've made eight music videos so far for the album, since I'm someone whose always loved the ways visuals complement music. When I play live, I set up projections using projection mapping to help add that "special mood" to the shows.

In the next few months I'm releasing a bass and vocal EP called Sharpen on Deadplant Records. It's mastered by Warren Hildebrand (Foxes in Fiction) and it's what happened after I listened to World of Echo by Arthur Russell on repeat for weeks. I wanted to experiment with a raw sounding and intimate recording, rather than the built up instrumentation of Ember or my upcoming LP.

I've finished recording my next full length LP, which is going to be released in the summer of 2016.
