Bio
West Without was founded in 2013 and is made up of four lifetime musicians - each carrying on a tradition that was passed down to them at a young age. The project itself became serious when the group's self-produced debut EP garnered the Louisiana natives some local attention. Shortly thereafter, the indie rockers found themselves in the unusual position of headlining their very first public performance as a band to a packed house at Baton Rouge's largest marquee venue (Varsity Theatre).
The show was well received, and the group has not stopped adding to their résumé since then. The growing list of national acts for whom West Without has opened includes The Plain White Ts… Panic! at the Disco… Royal Teeth… Art Alexakis of Everclear… and Cher Lloyd -- with more soon to come. The band regularly tours the Texas + Louisiana areas, and they are now beginning to branch out further north to Nashville.
They released a second EP in late 2015 and have recently begun recording a third, so stay tuned for updates!
