We Are Snapdragon

We Are Snapdragon was formed last fall by Cincinnati musicians Andrew Antle, Jon Evans, and Michael Schenk, adding Keegan Corcoran to the lineup as their versatile timekeeper. The band takes influence from Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Ros, and The National, but concocts its own unique, evocative sound that builds from ghostly, ambient dreamscapes into muscular, explosive Post Punk surges, with trippy electronic additives, quirky theremin squiggles and dance-friendly beats.

We Are Snapdraon recorded a live demo at Audio Grotto in Newport KY which they released in April of 2013.

We Are Snapdragon has performed extensively in the greater Cincinnati area playing 20th Century Theater, Taft Theater, MOTR pub, Northside Tavern, The Southgate House Revival, Mayday Northside, Mainstay, Neons, Three Kings Bar etc. They've also broken into the festival scene playing both Bunbury and Midpoint Music Festivals along with acts such as The Breeders, The National, Fun, and MGMT.

Antle - Beats and glitches, mad scientist, vocals, alchemy, keyboards, guitar, republishing burned books.

Corcoran - Drums, blacksmithing, tempo administrator, wine crafter, mountaineer, marching.
