Von Rad

     A technical style DJ known for smooth transitions and flamboyant fader blends.  This DJ's high energy is always positive, spinning everything - including House and Dubstep, Global and Tech Trance, Chillout and Poolside, with Bass House being his current focus.  Open, Honest, and a Showman, The Freddie Mercury of DJs.  If Mr. Mercury were to Spin the Music, Von Rad would be one of his vessels...

     As a traveling college
student, Rad observed different sounds and techniques along the way,
playing very infrequently at house parties and the occasional bar gig 
(just enough to keep him motivated while juggling academic career
decisions). Born in a musical family he naturally melded certain music
theory into his mixes. Forever telling a story, creating antagonism and
resolve in some Tech House, or by Jazz Movements in his Dubstep blends -
Stutter fading juggled loops with a stereotypical "call" and "response"
which epitomized that genre way back then.

     Von was also into
theatre. This comes by no surprise with some of the mechanics that you
see in his bipolar yet personable style of showmanship. Rad wreaks of passion.  He feels every song he spins, and mixed with his freedom of spontaneity, he creates a rare appeal that compliments his ability.  DJ Von Rad produces a John Hughes style Rollercoaster ride for everyone, and the best part of all is that he wants to ride it with you.  Everytime.  Von Rad's heart spins for one type of audience:  Millions...
