"Every time we see the word "Copacetic" involved with a recording, we think of the Lo-cal classic "Bound for the Floor." Vilano's sound is much faster, more pop-punk, more on the blink 182 on acid side of the scale, but one thing it requires - you must listen to them LOUD. The beats are drum heavy, and it's pretty much impossible not to move your head about a million times during a full six-song listen. We've had the song "Greetings" on repeat in the Narrow offices. Since we have some NJ Shore transplants on staff, we noticed the promo photo for that song playing a bit of Springsteen for his "Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ" album. They self-describe themselves as "Your mom's favorite pop-punk band," and they sound more like pop-punk veterans than they do upstart. This is a high-tempo, high-energy effort that needs to be listened to, and loud. Welcome to the St. Augustine music scene! - Narrow Magazine NE
