Gerald, a bassist with the internationally renowned Haitian band T-Vice, and Allen, a local jazz musician and music director at a large Miami church, met in a jam session in South Miami in the summer of 2010. Having noticed their similar approaches to music, they began practicing together and appearing as a duo. In October 2012 Jason Kent joined them on drums to form their trio.
Their playlist is eclectic and caters to all types of audiences, from lovers of pop artists like Sting and John Mayer to R&B favorites such as Anita Baker and Stevie Wonder. They can match the atmosphere of any room from the light touch of a cocktail hour to a feature performance with a musically inclined audience.

Description

The name describes the music - Unclazzified is dedicated to making instrumental music that is at the same time timeless and relevant to any musical ear. They blend jazz, soul, pop, and many other influences into a seamless whole that is both totally recognizable, yet totally new.
