Bio
The name Unauthorized Absence pays homage to the origins of the band when the original members all used to work together and would occasionally take off work early from our day jobs to spend some time jamming and learning new songs. Only two of those original members (Lee and Tapani) remain with the band (and still working together), but the name has stuck.
We're now a 5-piece classic rock cover band with 3 lead vocalists and excellent harmonies which gives us the flexibility to play a great variety of songs that resonate with audiences young and old. We play songs from the 60's through to 00's and we're always adding to our playlist to find songs that transport people back in time.
We have an amazing sounding professional sound system as well as a full light show that helps to set a UA live show apart from most cover bands. Every show is tailored to the venue and audience which is the primary reason that every time we play a venue, we've been asked to come back and play again and again.
