Twon-Li

At a young age, Antoine Herron a.k.a. Twon-Li, became involved in music because of the joy that it brought to him and those he loved. Born and raised by his single mother in the small town of Rockport, Texas, he began playing the saxophone in 2003 as a sixth grader in the Buccaneer Band. By the age of fourteen, however, Twon had begun to vocalize his musical talents through the arts of poetry and rap. As a believer of Christ, he grew up in Fulton Community Church and expanded his spiritual horizons, as well as his talents, while he was a part of the Praise and Worship team of Gateway Church in Gregory, Texas. His professional influence comes from that of the musical artists Seal and Canton Jones, but he has been influenced by several key people in his life. To begin, the main influence is his mother, who has supported him throughout his musical career; second is his lovely fiancé who has been supportive of him and his personal/professional adviser. Another who touched Twon’s life is his longtime friend and saxophone mentor Mr. I.C. Cruz. Music has been such a huge blessing in his life and he has defined his mission as using his music to “draw people closer to God through the power of music layered in biblical truth.”  Since going professional in 2011, he's released 3 singles, an EP titled "God Squad", and been featured by other known and respected artists on their projects. Twon's music has also been heard on radio stations all the way from the U.S. to Africa! With this new EP coming out soon, Twon-Li hopes to continue serving the Lord using his talents while living out the call of Christ in his home-life as a husband and father.
