Bio
Trikome is a progressive rock/avante garde band known for powerfully energetic performances and their style of songwriting that skillfully blends so many genres into one original sound. Fluent in blues, funk, jazz, and metal, Trikome's songs are infused with hard-hitting lyrics, and soulful harmonies. Trikome is a truly eclectic sound that matches well with their eccentric stage presence, and contagious positivity.
They materialized as a three piece instrumental band in 2010. Youngsters from the town of Auburn, California, they quickly gathered a dedicated fan base. Knowing what they had with only instrumentals soon learned it was time to evolve. Picking up a talented lead guitarist as a fourth member, eventually they decided to add vocals to their music, taking their sound to the next level.
The first full length album, We Used To Be Normal, was released in March of 2015, and was featured on 98.5 Rock's Local Licks, hosted by Andy Hawk. In 2016, Trikome was voted Best Entertainer or Band in the Best of the Best Awards by their hometown fans. The same year, they won 2nd Place in Dixon May Fair's Battle of the Bands competition, and went on to open for well-known bands such as Dog Fashion Disco, Psychostick, and Nekrogoblikon.
Trikome was also nominated in SN&R's SAMMIES Awards for best Hard Rock Band in 2018. Currently, Trikome is writing and recording their second album, looking forward to booking their first tour shortly after. Their music can be found on iTunes, Spotify, Soundcloud, Deezer, Tidal, and Amazon along with many other music streaming apps.
