Trap Sinatra is one of the best up and coming artists in the rap game today. He constantly takes time to perfect his craft and hustle. He is the type of artist that raps about real life and his personal experiences. His real name is Delance A. Bradshaw and he has greatly improved his skills on the microphone since he first started. The reason that his popularity has increased so much is because people recognize that he is real and always stays true to the streets. He was born on May 19, 1988 in Waukegan, Illinois, Throughout his childhood, he went through a lot and learned how to deal with the environment he was raised in. He has seen a lot of street violence and crime and had to cope with the challenges that he has faced growing up. Although he grew up facing a lot of situations that turn most people fearful, he learned how to overcome what he was afraid of and express his emotions and thoughts by making rap. In 2008 Trap Sinatra dropped his highly anticipated mixtape , "Bitch I'm Not A Rockstar". After releasing a single called, " Bitch I'm Not A Rock star". The song caught fire and was taking off until, Mr. Bradshaw got into some legal trouble and couldn't keep the promotion up. Trap Sinatra was nominated in several Midwest award shows and have won numerous showcase. If you have taken the time to listen to the words that, Trap Sinatra speaks in his lyrics, then you know he talks alot about what he has witnessed, heard, and seen in Waukegan. A lot of people don’t think of areas in Waukegan as being violent or dangerous, but the truth is that there are plenty of places that most people would not want to visit. The place where he grew up made things difficult on him and those around him. He is clearly a rapper that knows what the street life is like because he has seen the way things work. As an individual who got heavily influenced by music in the late 1990’s and 2000's, he began to play around with rapping and kept pushing forward to improve his skills. He flowed over different beats and tried different vocal patterns that most people wouldn’t think about trying. It was people like Lil Boosie, Lil Webbie, Young Jeezy, Hotboyz, No Limit Records, Twista and Spedknot Mobsters, Jay Z, Easy E, Yo Gotti, Tupac, Rakim, Slick Rick and many many more that he really idolized growing up. In particular, he followed N.W.A. and Bone Thugs N Harmony and was greatly inspired based on what he was hearing from their records. Trap Sinatra emerged as an artist because more people are starting to realize the Midwest is not based on drill music. Trap Sinatra music is based on real life experience. The reason that Delance Bradshaw chose the name Trap Sinatra is his stage name is because he wanted it to be based on Frank Sinatra, who was widely known as a the man who sang for and ran with the Mafia member in New York. Even though he was coming up with awesome rhymes and hustling in the streets, it wasn’t until he was released from prison in 2013 from a drug conviction did he take himself serious and decided to start a label his Co-CEO Maybak a.k.a Dejuan Mayfield and sign himself. His debut was called “Trappin My Religion" and stuck to a heavy trap music sound. Not only did he hold his own with club bangers like "Pour Up & Wit Da Shots", but he gave fellow Illinois rapper King Louie a run for his money on there smashing single "Jack Frost" which received great reviews and spins with no promo and no video.
We're expecting the follow up to be a classic as well. With the remake of his 2008 single, "I'm On Now" he is guaranteed to catch label attention. Trap Sinatra album is slated to drop Jan 2016. Trap Sinatra mixtapes, all of which are well accepted by the streets. Not only did he come out with CD's to hit stores, but Trap Sinatra constantly feed the streets with mixtapes. Trap Sinatra is currently promo touring all across the entire United States. So fans of gangsta rap really like his music because they can relate to things and situations that he brings up in his raps. The reason that Trap Sinatra has become successful in the rap game is not because of other people putting him on; hes putting himself on. He even sold records out of the trunk of his car for awhile and was hustling independently. The Midwest really likes what he is doing at this time and his music has become known as some of the best from the Midwest. He has built up quite a successful portfolio of work and have performed on the same bill with other artists like Gucci Mane, Lil Boosie, Snootie Wild, Plies, Ray Nitti, Lil Foxx, Lil Webbie, Bread Doe, Pooncy Double O, Charmz Valkom, Kaution Tyson, Rio Zeppelin, J Dinero, Lil Herb, Chop Squad, Cap 1, Yo Gotti, Project Pat , Katie Got Bandz and many more.
