Tone Kelly has brought on some his industry peers to Judge the competition, Vibe 105 on air personality, Carries Mullings, CHUO 89.1 on air personality, DJ Dynamic, CIUT 89.5 on air personality Newbreedmc, Music Producer, Steve Hollywood and Music Executive and Casting Director Steve Mann. Award Winning Producer & DJ T Major will host. “So, You Think You Can Rap Canada” gives aspiring & on the rise Rap artists a platform to perform & mingle with music industry professionals.
The Competition will be held at music venue Smiling Buddha, 961 College St. Torontoover four dates:

July 6 second round

Aug 17 semi finals

Tone Kelly dropped the visual for his summer banger “Sauce Drip,” giving listeners a look into Tone’s fast life. The single is available on all platforms and the video can be viewed on youtube. Tone Kelly’s music sounds like no other, with his quick wittiness and energetic style he is able to adapt to any style or genre of music. Tone Kelly’s music is a breath of fresh air for the hip hop industry with no two flows sounding similar he is capable to suck you in with his choice of beats and the way he delivers his lyrics. Tone has got the heat, the drive and the passion. Tone will be releasing a new single every Friday off of his mixtape and his album will be dropping this Fall.
Tone Kelly is also the founder of So You Think You Can Rap Canada, a rap competition now in its second year, that looks for the next Great Rapper to come out of Canada. The winner receives $5,000 cash prize. Tone founded the competition to show artists that they don’t have to leave Toronto to make music in the states because of the support they are not receiving in their own city. There is a network of Industry people willing to support them in their own hometown. The competition gives aspiring and on the rise rap artists a platform to perform & mingle with key music industry professionals.
