"Working together, lifelong friends Andrew and Nate have given us melodic indie pop. Check out 'Coming for You' - which evokes Keane, Peter Bjorn & John, and Coldplay." - Helen Leicht, WXPN - Fig Magazine
US-based Tigers and Thieves share ‘Change Your Mind’, an indie rock track that has all the markings of a hit, despite being recorded in their garage studio. It’s been mixed by Brian McTear (The War on Drugs, Sharon Van Etten, Local Natives). - Indietronica
“Charminar” is the second single this summer from the Tigers and Thieves. “Charminar” was inspired by a temple in Hyderabad, India. Darker alternative elements are shown here, though the roaring nature of the chorus – with the shimmering guitars and a slight backing chirp of electronics – ascends into more a more brightening part, with the vocals and guitars leading the way. - Born Music
Tigers and Thieves just released their captivating new track “Charminar” today. It’s the second single this summer from the act, who are based right outside of Philly. Recorded with mixing engineer/producer Brian McTear (Local Natives, Dr. Dog, Sharon Van Etten, The War on Drugs) at Philadelphia’s Miner Street Recordings, “Charminar” was inspired by a temple in Hyderabad, India. Darker-leaning alternative tends to be the classification here, though the soaring nature of the chorus – with the shimmering guitars and slight backing warble of electronics – ascends into more brightened territory, with the vocals and guitars leading the way. This is a high-quality piece of songwriting and production from this quickly rising act. - Obscure Sound

Bio
After their first EP, You Can’t Have Everything, left them with airplay on Philadelphia’s WXPN, coverage from Relevant Magazine, and a handful of shows under their belt, Tigers and Thieves headed into the mountains to record more music. Change/Charminar gives us the first hint at the next evolution of Tigers and Thieves - sonically complex yet endlessly catchy.
