Bio
Virginia based rapper, J-Real, was raised on 70’s and 80’s soul music. In his household, rap music was rarely played. That trained his ear early on to develop a unique style of melodies and adding an element of “soul” in each of his beat selections. You can hear the influence of Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa, and Kendrick Lamar through his music.
Born Jaymarr Williams, J-Real, spent a significant amount of time building his brand/fan base through performing at festivals such as SXSW & A3C. In 2016, J-Real created his independent clothing company, The Future Millionaires Company, also known as “thefm.co”. In 2019, alongside producer Mason Taylor, J-Real created the record label, L.O.V.E. Records.
