Bio
“The Third Winter” is an acoustic duo formed in 2016 featuring Lori Ann Strunk and David Rossi. Through the playful close bond between the 2 singers, the character of the group can be heard in their soulful, harmony laden mix of popular covers and catchy original songs.
Lori graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and promptly made her Broadway debut in the role of Amneris in Elton John’s Aida. Her other credits include the National and European tours of Grease! (Sandy), and Hair (Sheila). She has participated in many NY City benefit concerts, including Rockers on Broadway, A Promise of Hope, and Pippin. Lori is also the owner of Center Stage Music Studios in Pottstown, PA.
Since 2000, David has been the songwriter, lead singer, and rhythm
guitar player for The Underhills and Unionville, 2 very popular
Philadelphia original rock bands. Commanding much of his success as
a talented and seasoned songwriter, his original work has been
featured on such local stations as WSTW, WZZO, and WXPN, and he has
played countless festivals (SXSW) and music conferences across the country. Their latest album “Cahill Pass” was up for numerous local radio awards early last year.
The Third Winter took a break during Covid where Lori focused on her music school and Dave focused on his original projects. The band reformed back in early 2023 and is ramping up their fall schedule...
