The Saydes are a 4 piece rock band consisting of four core members. Talin Chadwick (Vocals & Rhythm Guitar) and Connor Lauzon (Bass and Backing Vocals) started the band in high school back in 2018. Talin’s cousin Kameron (Kam) Price (Lead Guitar & Backing Vocals) joined about a year later in 2019. Josh Moncarz (Drums), who is the current drummer of the band, joined in late 2022. The band lost their original drummer in 2020 due to COVID 19, and had to take a long hiatus, but continued to work behind the scenes with a producer. Over 2021 they worked on an upcoming double single, but plans changed as in early 2022 they decided to make it into an EP consisting of five tracks instead. All of which were recorded in early 2022 by a session drummer before Josh joined the band. It was not too long after that where the band’s producer (Brian Moncarz) suggested maybe his son try playing with the band. Thus Josh Moncarz joined. The band members all live in different cities but mostly play in Toronto and Barrie, Ontario. Their music is catchy, hard, and energetic. Capturing the feeling of 90s rock, with its own modern twist. As a band they put their all into performances and recordings, and look forward to the future to further their potential.
