theRESPONSE formed in Austin, TX in 2009. The band released its first EP entitled “With One Voice” the following year, and has since performed on tour with the African Children’s Choir in Uganda, won Creation Fest’s Indie Talent Search (the largest Christian music festival), and have performed at House of Blues and Austin City Limits Live. They released their next project entitled “Currents” in 2012, “Valleys and the Night” in January of 2014, and they are currently in preproduction of their next record. theRESPONSE frequently plays all over the Southern United States. This collective of friends and multi-instrumentalists include Russell Parks, Tanner Evans, Jesse Schaefer, Steve Mielke, and Taylor Stearns.
