Bio
The Refrains is a tight melodious Indi-Folkrock band that plays unique original songs with good deep hooks. The songs are about simple truths delivered cleverly and the music mostly revolves around the lyrics. There is an intensity to the live performance that draws attention yet a professionalism within the players to maintain volume, control and respect for one another.
The band consists of four players; Kyle Mylius on keys, Eddie Baty on drums, James Rector on Base guitar and Lindsey James on acoustic guitar and vocals. Kyle and Lindsey have played together in several projects since 2007 and picked up James and Eddy in 2013 to form The Refrains.
