The alternative band The Reckless Scamps started off as an acoustic duo in late 2011. With Rob Maes on vocals and Sean Neal on guitar/background vocals, the two formed the foundation for the group, quickly adding Jeff Strubbe as a bass guitarist in early 2012. After their first show, they added Walter on drums to complete the set. All of the Scamps have very different influences, ranging from classic jazz, contemporary pop-rock, hardcore, alternative rock, and everywhere in between.
Based in Clarkston, MI, they plan on expanding their reach across the state and beyond. With their extreme diversity as instrumentalists and always evolving sound, they're making music that they hope everyone will love.
