The Larry Wilson is a Christian-inspired hip-hop artist based in Atlanta, GA.
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota Larry Wilson began pursuing the craft of Hip Hop at the age of 4. His father taught him how to produce and perform music, his mother taught him how to write rhymes.
Coming up, he built a strong name for himself in the Twin Cities hip hop scene. In 2005, he was featured on the hit MTV show “Made” with Rhymesayers act Toki Wright.
The Larry Wilson has had the opportunity to perform alongside the legendary MC Lyte at the iconic venue First Avenue of "Purple Rain" fame. He also shared the stage with DJ Premier, Naughty by Nature, and Freeway.
In 2013, The Larry Wilson released his debut album "Good Religion”. He also released the self-produced, sophomore album “6:12” in 2015. In 2018 he also released his “Unreligious EP”. He currently has thousands of streams worldwide.
In 2019, The Larry Wilson's single “Refuse 2 Lose“ was featured in the NBA & WNBA playoffs with has gained over 2 million views.
He also performed at the Atlanta Dream Gospel Explosion WNBA Halftime Show at State Farm Arena with collective Team Foreign, Gappstar St. Clair, 1K Phew, Mr. 2-17, and Canton Jones.
Outside of music, The Larry Wilson also has his hand in multimedia and fashion, working with various major artists and businesses. He launched a Christian streetwear brand Lord!
His mission is to share his personal and spiritual journey in the most creative, relevant, and honest fashion.
