"5 Must-See Bands At Gasparilla Music Festival"

Gainesville, Florida will be well-represented in Tampa when Gritt takes the stage. Made up of Gytis Garsys, Jonathon Franklin, Ian Heausler, and Max Rowe, Gritt brings a psychedelic-blues rock mix that fans will go crazy over, and their sound has made them one of music’s up-and-coming bands. Saturday, Mar. 12 at Shea Barclay Stage at Tibbett’s Corner. Set begins at 5:45 pm..." - AXS

"High Dive’s Sunday Sounds: Gritt, Susto and Heartless Bastards"

"...Gritt for the garage rockers, Susto for the quiet indie-country lovers, and Heartless Bastards for the soulful indie rock fans.

Hailing from our very own Gainesville, Gritt took to the stage with their grungy guitars and grainy vocals. Reminiscent of the earlier garage rock sounds of The Black Keys, Gritt turned the quaint venue into what felt like a private concert. Masterful guitar chords layered perfectly over vocals with a vaguely Southern feel to it, comparable to that of Kings of Leon, White Denim and The White Stripes. The end result culminated in authentic, undiluted rock ‘n’ roll- a breath of fresh air for all of us who swear that good music is dead (and to that one friend who still believes Justin Bieber’s talent is unmatched).

Gritt proved a true local gem to Gainesville’s ever-shaping music scene, providing a taste of the classics and an engaging show that had the crowd moving with the music...." - GainesvilleScene

"Halfway through 2016, catch up on the year's Tampa Bay albums"

"...Gritt, Gritt

Released back in January, Gritt's self-titled EP was laid down at the legendary Fame Recording Studios in Muscle Shoals, Ala. Not bad for four Tampa dudes who now call Gainesville home. Fame's influence is thick in their smoky, stompy Southern rock, particularly on growling buzzsaws Savannah and Better Off Dead.

Still working on that hot first release.

Based out of Gainesville, Florida, Gytis Garsys, Jonathon Franklin, Ian Heausler, and Max Rowe create a garage blues-inspired rock 'n' roll experience that demands presence in modern music. With raw, ruthless energy, The Delta Troubadours' performances prove to be both exhilarating and unforgettable.

Often compared to bands like Kings of Leon, The Black Keys, The White Stripes, White Denim, and Led Zeppelin, these four young men have crafted a sound and style that pays homage and tribute to the greats of yesteryear while maintaining an ambitious and innovative approach to music. Some have even described The Delta Troubadours as "authentic, undiluted rock ‘n’ roll- a breath of fresh air for all of us who swear that good music is dead."
