The Bad Shine is a Twin Cities Rock n Roll band, formed in 2017.
The founding members, Bryce Tuitt and Sammy Strings, had been performing music together since 2008. After many years, and different projects, the duo found themselves involved in Sammy Strings & The Can of Bliss together, with Sammy on guitar and vocals, and Bryce playing drums.
Front man, Bryce Tuitt, has some excellent guitar shredding skills, not utilized in The Can of Bliss, so the duo formed a new band, Wheelchair Jimmy, with Rob Erdmann on drums, and a few months later, partnered with their new bassist, Ian Chisholm.
After the new line-up started gigging, in 2018, we took on our new, official name, "The Bad Shine."
The Bad Shine lays funky beats, with gnarly guitar licks. The songs are always changing up in tempo, rhythm, and style. The Bad Shine will keep you guessing, and wondering what will be coming next.
Stay tuned for the upcoming releases of our first single, Long Strange Daze (Releasing 2/14/2019), and our first, full-length album. Shred it!
