Artist Name: The Merchant Born: Howard Cornelius Price Native of Chicago Illinois Westside now a Army OEF/OIF Veteran who returns to the civilian sector as a powerhouse hard hitting in your face Producer/Artist/Mix Engineer living in Texas. Not only is this artist talented he also earned a Master’s Degree in Philosophy with concentration in Computer Information Science. In this independently produced project the Merchant released birth to a high powered self awareness smooth Hip-Hop and R&B soundtracks. The New Release Project Entitled hits like “Don’t Mind Me” Light It Up and Mr. President are just a couple headbangers on the CD thats creating a buzz out through the communities and regional area of Texas. The polished sounds of the Merchant are similar to Kendrick Lamar. 2Pac. Chance The Rapper, Scarface and MJG & 8 Ball. By being a solid producer the merchant giving you Classy Lyric on top of Eutopic Baselines with intoxicating Harmonic Melodies which makes this the CD to have for the Summer.
