"If you feel an everyday stirring to follow your instinct, an agitated enthusiasm that urges you forward, and a deep desire to feel the breadth and depth of your life, To All Things will articulate those hard to describe feelings and more.
Equal parts steady harmonies and buoyant surprises, The Living Roots Trio's first album delivers a musical evolution of spirit. The fluctuation between cleverness and earnest yearning mirrors the same internal arguments we have alone with ourselves, one minute we're on top of the world and the next we're spinning out of control. To All Things gives even time to both sentiments and the myriad worlds in between. The use of voice, guitar, trumpet and strings offer a way to hear our own thoughts. And beautiful sounding thoughts they are.
If you are in the mood for musical poetry, To All Things is an album well worth your time. Go on the journey with The Living Roots Trio. Get a good pair of headphones so you don't miss one piece of their beautiful musical puzzle. At the very least you'll discover a musical language that offers insight to your own inner workings." - Courtney Romano (The First Ten Years)

Bio
The Living Roots Trio, with its earnest and complex original songs, is
melancholy in tone yet hopeful in its message. Though primarily
folk/rock, the band incorporates classical and jazz influences into
its unique and textured sound. The observational, poetic, lyrics are
carried forward by the sometimes turbulent, sometimes quirky and
occasionally gentle momentum of percussive nylon string guitar playing
and an upright bass. Open and raw vocal harmonies sore above (and
below) and blend together throughout the songs, giving The Living
Roots Trio its signature mood.
Singer songwriter Séamus Maynard, vocalist Meaghan Witri, and Upright
Bass player Sauerkraut Seth Travins hold down the core of the Living
Roots Trio with guest musicians regularly "playing through" as
featured on their first album titled “To All Things” (January 2016). There you'll hear the sweet sounds of Eric Sherman playing trumpet, Mike Merenda on drums and percussion, Jonathan Talbott on violin and Jonah Thomas on cello.
