Sons of Dad Rock are here to chew bubblegum and kick ass and they're all out of bubblegum *and* asses.
Formed in 2013 The Disarmed have brought their unique sound of yesteryear with a fresh, youthful energy. Influenced by greats such as Iron Maiden, Alice Chains, and Soundgarden. This grunge revival group melds the aggressive, powerful, and soaring vocals of Bobby Kooiman, the precision and hard hitting drums of Zach Dresch, the unique tone and attack of Doug Hair's bass, and the fresh influence of new guitarist Morgan Harris.
Their third full length studio album "What We Leave Behind" is set to release August 12th. Recorded by Jeremy Schaeffer at All Poetic Audio in the winter of 2021/2022, the album shows a natural maturation and progression from their previous records. With dynamics ranging from hard, thrashing riffs to beautiful, haunting ballads "What We Leave Behind" confronts the impermanence of life and legacy.
