The eclectic, vibrant sounds of Tne BendRs takes you down many avenues of their contagious music.. Are they Rock, Indie, Americana, Blues? All of the above including some reggae and country. Hard to pin down to one genre, they pull from many different influences. Growing up in Northern California, they were exposed to many different influences, and like most musicians borrowed a little bit of this, a little bit of that to formulate their unique sound. Powerful lyrics, beautiful harmonies and a solid groove include Tammy Rakela's soothing vocals, Mark James soulful range and intricate guitar playing and Ron Rakela on keyboards, vocals and harmonica are real easy to listen to. And with Marion Viducich, Ron's lifelong friend and bandmate on bass and superb drummer, Bill Defazio rounding them out, their tunes are timeless and exciting!
