Bio
My name is Terra, Terabyte is the moniker I go by as an electronic pop producer, singer and songwriter. I produce, mix, write, sing, and record all my own music. I was born and raised in northwestern Montana, traveled and moved all over the world/USA for several years, and just recently moved to Oakland, California.
I have been making original electronic music for 16 years using electronic keyboards, and DAWs, such as Logic Pro and Ableton Live. My music is heavily influenced by European dance music, RnB, as well as indie and dream pop. My vocals have been compared to Bjork, Sade, and Karin Dreijer Andersson.
Although I am currently an independent artist, I look forward to joining forces with the perfect label one day. I have decided to play more shows recently, with every intention of growing the Terabyte project with other musicians and artists with a similar vision. I normally play as a solo act, but sometimes play with a drummer and/or guitar player, with original visuals as a backdrop. My live show has been compared to Little Dragon and Grimes.
I have a large repertoire of original songs (and some covers) and ample experience performing live--and quite enjoy it! In the last two years, I have finally felt ready to truly pursue music as my career.
