TC Tye Piano Guy

TC Tye's influences started at birth with gospel quartet music and then by age 8 TC had the "satchmo" voice down complete with inflections and mannerisms, by 13 he took piano lessons and by 15 had his first rock band playing Rush, Deep Purple, Led Zepplin, Yes, The Who, Doobie Brothers, and then moved into country and folk, then top 40 rock band "Cruiser" in Jr. College led to steady work on the Crown Lounge Circuit, then he studied jazz piano principle and chorus at U. of Miami to increase his improvisation techniques and broaden his musical horizon. After college and loving the beach-side lifestyle he went solo playing Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley and calypso music to the barefoot bikini clad tourists in the Florida Keys.  

     By 2005 he realized he wanted residual income from his own music and started getting serious about having a full night's worth of original songs just as fun and exciting as any covers he was playing. In 2012 TC dedicated his life to writing hit songs and full time song writing, film and tv placements and performing and the result is an intense study of contemporary hit songs and his outpouring of creative influences has created 13 CD's worth of music in 13 different genres sure to have a hit in each one. Music came so easy to TC that he took it for granted for most of his life and simply goofed off but now the focus is intense on getting his life's work out there and developing himself as a singer songwriter and band leader. TC may pick his favorite genre for his own act and sell all his other songs to other artists and for film and tv placement and regularly creates a song on demand and produces the recording within 24 hours of inspiration or request. TC is touring the SE playing live from Cape Canaveral to the Florida Keys area and heading to the NW in the summer of 2019.
