Bio
Southside Chicago native Sunshine Lombre is a freelance poet, dancer & choreographer who specializes in expressing sensuality and emotional authenticity through her words & movements. Her poetry music blends a few genres including Jazz, Spoken Word, Neo-Soul and Lo-Fi Indie Rap. It's mellow, soothing but still passionate, filling the senses with a spectrum of colors and emotions while also increasing mental health awareness. Sunshine performs poetry and choreography nationwide while also curating seasonal artist showcases based around Black heritage. Sunshine strives to share her passion for Spoken Word and choreography while uplifting Black communities worldwide through teaching creative writing classes through the Chicago Public Library system and other organizations as well.
