It's not just about country music anymore. Nashville's pop punk scene is on its way back and it's better than ever. Leading the comeback is Summertime, an act known for its heart pounding pop punk and positive lyrics.
Last year, Nate Goodlet (guitar and vocals), Keith Perez (bass), and Matt Dougan (drums) began writing and playing songs like the ones they grew up loving. The result is a catchy fusion of The Starting Line and The Spill Canvas, with elements of recent acts like Real Friends and The Story so Far. They're writing and recording their first EP, developing their "Music City Pop Punk" brand and playing shows around the city. Get ready. Music City's pop punk is coming back.
