Suari is the alias of Brazilian American singer/songwriter Gabriel Anjos Soares. Starting off as a playful nickname between him and his friends, he adopted the moniker as his stage name when first planning to release music. He started off posting a few covers to his YouTube channel. Shortly after, in March 2017, he released his first original song, Pretend (I Don't Need You). Fast forward a year and a half, and Suari had released his first full length album, Dreamland. The album spans a total of one hour, consisting of 16 tracks, and was written and produced almost entirely by himself, with only a few lyrical contributions. Suari describes his songs as coming from the upmost vulnerable and honest place within him. So Lonely I Could Die and Alive are his latest singles, set to be included on his second full length album.
