Born from a combination of the underground seedy bar scene and the high end jazz clubs of Detroit, Strictly Fine brings a unique, powerful, and energetic sound to the stage with each show. In our music you can hear Motown, James Brown, Tower of Power, P-Funk, Blue Note, and even Louis Armstrong. Each member has a sound all their own, and we come together to create a sound greater than the sum of our parts. We have a hard time containing ourselves and can pretty much be found having a good time wherever we are, leaving a trail of coordinated dance moves and slick horn lines in our wake.
