Strange Robotic

When we heard that Strange Robotic was performing at The Scout Bar, we headed out there to see them. This Dallas-based band has been generating quite a bit of interest lately, so we decided to check them out for ourselves. Let me tell you, these guys really put on a good show. It's a little more mellow that what we usually see at The Scout Bar, but they were quite good. The band was founded by Chris Schuchardt in 2012. Joined by a skilled bassist, JD Eakins...a talented guitarist, Chris Rasco.... and gifted drummer Rob Nabors... they form Strange Robotic. 380 Corridor’s Chris Schuchardt formed a local rock band that has been ensnaring the Metroplex. The band Strange Robotic is comprised of Schuchardt as the lead vocalist and guitarist, joined by skilled bassist and vocalist, JD Eakins, talented lead guitarist, Chris Rasco, and gifted drummer and vocalist, Rob Nabors.

The band formed in Dallas in 2012 and after hitting a rhythm together the artists created several original songs catapulting them to the next level as a band. Their cool vibe and innovative sound shaped by a combination of jazz, rock, and pop in conjunction with an electronic undercurrent put them where they needed to be to create their first CD. Strange Robotic’s CD produces a range of dulcet rock that provides memorable hooks and toe tapping rhythms. Rasco’s technical guitar leads are emphasized and harmoniously flow with the overall feel that makes Strange Robotic distinctive. “Strange Robotic looks forward to each show as a chance to get closer with the fans and connect with people on a level that only music can provide,” says Schuchardt.
