Jaime Trujillo: Vocalist, Drums 01 October 2015
I have been playing drums for 50 years, having started at the age of 11 years. I have played with several groups from Mesilla and Las Cruces, New Mexico. I toured with a group named Phorce, which was later renamed New Mexico. The musical group New Mexico performed at every United States Air Force base on an U. S. Air Force Showcase tour. I did record an album with the musical group New Mexico. Also, I performed at various concerts, as a warm-up act, for Tower of Power, Sister Sledge, Cameo, The Bob Hope Show, Evelyn Champagne ~ing, Malo, El Chicano, Tierra, and many more. I played with the Krucez Band for over 20 years, and recorded 2 albums with them. Now, I am enjoying myself and playing with some of my best friends with a group by the name of Steppin' Up. We plan to record and hopefully play for many years to come. I have met some wonderful people over the many years of my musical career. God Bless You All!
