Bio
Stefanie Potter is a folk/soul acoustic singer-songwriter in Charleston, with a background in social work, missions, and ministry. She is an "artist of the heart," writing story-filled songs about things that matter most in life. Her music entertains while digging deep to inspire hope and compassion. Stefanie started playing guitar at age six with her father’s church group. She began writing music as a teenager for a NY-based rock band that performed consistently for about a decade. Stefanie released her first solo EP, Shifting Winds, November 2014. She continues as an active songwriter and performer, including the recent honors of of opening for nationally renowned comedian, Chonda Pierce, and being chosen out of over 2k artists in 2015 and 2016 to perform at the Cooper River Bridge Run (40k attendees). She is typically musically supported on all sorts of percussive instruments by her sister, Amanda. Amanda also provides tight vocal harmonies that only come through genetics and years of singing together. Their performances are filled with passion, energy, fun, and a touch of quirkiness
