Bio
Formed in the heart of Bayonne, NJ in 2018, Spring Ahead, Fall Apart is a post-emo band that blends raw emotion with atmospheric soundscapes. The band began when vocalist and guitarist Rob started crafting songs in his pre-war brick apartment, channeling the nostalgia and grit of suburban New Jersey. Joined by bassist Kevin, whom he met during their shared time living in Old Bridge, the two developed a close musical bond, playing off and on for years before expanding the lineup.
As the band grew, so did their sound. With the addition of Alex on guitarand Jack on drums, Spring Ahead, Fall Apart solidified their place in the post-emo scene, balancing melodic intensity with introspective lyrics. Each member brings a wealth of experience, having been involved in recording, touring, managing, and even signing to record labels in their individual careers.
Drawing inspiration from the emotional honesty of emo and the raw power of post-hardcore, Spring Ahead, Fall Apart aims to create music that resonates on a deeply personal level, while also speaking to the universal experiences of loss, change, and resilience.
