Bio
In late December 2011, former Punchin' Judy guitarist Michael Burnette had decided to end his hiatus from music and once again hit the music scene, and with drummer Harold Hartsock (Insanatarium), guitarist Chris Philips, and Jason "Hardcore" Harris fronting this new venture Soul Collision was born.
The band would play their first show in June 2012 at the stage in Saltville, VA and over the next few months Soul Collision continued to play shows while still trying to find a bassist to complete the lineup. In September 2012 former Malasylum guitarist Mike Caudell joined the band ending their search for a bassist. In December 2012 almost a full year after first getting together the band had to part ways with Harris thus opening the door for James Jones to become the band's new frontman. Things were looking up for the band as the first show with Jones at the helm was a huge success but their endurance would soon be tested when in the early part of 2013 guitarist Chris Philips left the band. Although the loss of a band mate was hard the remaining members stayed the course and continued playing shows.
Following the June 2013 event "Rockin The Knob" the band decided to move in a different direction and parted ways with Harold, thus leaving Burnette as the lone remaining member of the original lineup. In early 2014 the band added Kevin Bullen on drums, Shawn Bullen on lead guitar, and Matt Scott on bass. Midway thru the year more changes were made as the band decided to part ways with James Jones paving the way for another Tri-Cities vet Hal Shultz to take over as the band's new frontman.
In the fall of 2014 Matt was out and Soul Collision was reunited with original bassist Mike Caudell and in 2015 Tom Silcox took over drums and later Rick Centeno on guitar .
