Sir Plus called New York home but then headed to North Carolina to make way for himself in the rap game. “Be With Me” featuring Deja Bluu sounds like a song that’s already on the airwaves. It’s well crafted and takes the best from an R&B standpoint and adds in a little flow to make for a track that just feels right. Sampling the Eddie Murphy classic, no really it’s a shame he didn’t do more in music, Sir Plus puts his spin on “Party All the Time” with his own “All She Wanna Do Is (Party All the Time).” Things take a turn for the serene with “Calm Down” as the feminine touch offers up a chill feel the whole way through even with Sir Plus bringing it in the rhyme department. He then takes on a more recent hit, Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know.” It’s crazy that we haven’t heard a peep from that artist in years, but that’s okay because Sir Plus is doing his thing with the onetime chart topper and giving it another life. Whether he’s taking on others’ or doing his own thing, one thing’s for sure – Sir Plus brings his a-game every time. Sir Plus is the newest breath of fresh air to grace the microphone. His unique, straight forward creativity is spreading worldwide very quickly! He is one of those rare artists who are very difficult to place in a box. Most artists have a specific sound that they are known for but Sir Plus is so versatile and very strong at being so. His music is perfect for the everyday person no matter what walk of life, or background.
Brooklyn, NY native Sir Plus fell in love with music at a young age. By the time he reached 8th grade he was writing poems, infactuated with the thought of perfecting the coordination of sentences. Later residing in a small town in North Carolina throughout High School Plus participated in several talent shows, even opening up performing in several school functions. After graduating Sir Plus moved to Greensboro, NC where he knew he could take his craft to the next level. He began to do so and in the process grew a name for himself in the city of Greensboro as well as near by cities. Sir Plus has progressed tremendously ever since in many ways. From performing in showcases, open mics, & featured appearances all up the East Coast.
Released, late 2015, is his debut album "You Are What You Listen To" features his hit singles the smooth lady friendly "Be With Me" featuring R&B crooner Deja Bluu, and the current social eye opener "We Gotta Do Better" and the title track "You Are What You Listen To". His debut album You Are What You Listen To has taken off and is currently available worldwide on all major digital music retail outlets (iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music) and more!!
Queen City Awards "2015 Hip Hop Artist of the Year" nominee, Sir Plus has even opened up for artists such as Rapper Big Pooh, and Slum Village. Also headlining The Konnected Tour in 2014, which touched several cities in North Carolina and Virginia. Sir Plus' skills are incredible, he's produced his own music, filmed his own music videos, featured in Indie films and more. Sir Plus is at the top of his game without a doubt. With so much talent, and such a random rhyme style there's always anticipation lingering in his fans' minds wondering what will he come up with next!! One thing for sure is Sir Plus will always come correct and deliver some of the most compelling, and authentic music you’d ever want to hear!
