Beautiful voice and track!! - Still G, G-Funk Vibez Radio
I am done over by "Over & Done" a good one. Over & Done is a program starter - Raymond, KRR FM Radio
"Siobhan’s love for R&B songstress Aaliyah is more than apparent from the moment A Musical Affair begins. There is a light and airy quality to her vocals that echoes the delicate tones of her tragically fallen idol. However, Siobhan fancies herself a Jane of all trades, writing and arranging her own music. She has even produced a handful of film projects, which is a good thing because the video treatment for certain songs on this release write themselves."

Bio
It makes perfect sense that the Hawthorne, CA-based Siobhan (pronounced Sha-vawn) has titled her latest album Vertigo, after the famous Alfred Hitchcock suspense thriller. After all, this talented R&B singer also has a filmmaking degree, to go with ambitions of one day writing and directing. “It takes you into a whole other world,” says Siobhan of her highly cinematic music, “and each song could be made into a good suspenseful film.”
Siobhan may have discovered her singing talent at the tender age of 10, but she’s never depended solely on talent alone. She may be a skilled performer, but she is also well acquainted with hard work. “All the music is made by me and no one else,” she explains. “I engineer, edit, mix, sing (of course), write and arrange. “
When Siobhan sings, it comes out sounding ‘Dark Noir,’ which is a creative description only an aspiring filmmaker could use to explain music. “My voice is very urban, but my song subjects and beats are very noir-like or alternative,” she further elaborates, “almost dub step, mixed with a little rock.”
Lyrically and musically, Siobhan’s music brings out the many layers in this unique artist’s personality. “My music shows my vulnerable side, as well as my tough, aggressive side,” she notes. “It shows a person that has been through things, yet you can tell they have gotten past it.” Beware: Siobhan never beats around the bush. “My bluntness is very apparent,” she states, matter-of-fact-ly.
Jason Randall Smith, the Urban Pop Music Editor, echoes Siobhan’s sister’s original assessment when describing Siobhan’s talent.
Siobhan’s career is like one gratifying, life-affirming movie; one that will almost surely have a happy ending.
