Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns

For almost TWO decades, Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns have been entertaining large crowds EVERYWHERE! From opening up for national acts, festivals, weddings - ALL the way to rockin’ out in dive bars, they leave their mark! During their time as a band, they have created quite the reputation & following, have received numerous awards, have played with some of music’s biggest names EVER! , MANY national sporting events & have even had multiple TV appearances (As well as a fully filmed/produced documentary!)

Richard “Shorty Long” Tisch was born with Osteogenesis Imperfect or “O.I.” (AKA “Children Of Glass”). This extremely rare condition has left him at a staggering 3FT height & wheelchair bound for his entire life. He has overcome these harsh physical limitations & challenges by mastering the keyboard since the age of 5! Who knew Tisch & his talented circus-like band would become such a ABSOLUTE legendary & inspirational group at the Jersey Shore and BEYOND!

Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns play WELL over 200 shows per-year commonly ranging ANYWHERE from: NJ, NY, PA, MD, CT, DE, VA alllll the way to Tampa/Key West Florida!

We are a 100% LIVE & AUTHENTIC 9 piece band, with a diverse cast of members (aging from 21-60) with all sorts of backgrounds.
