ShayMuZik was born in Mobile,AL (birth place of Mardi Gras) April 20,1993, to Mother Danielle Cagin. She was third of 4 kids. Shay father parted from the family early on in ShaTerrica life. Danielle raised Shay and her 3 siblings, in the downtown inner-city of Mobile. They lived in the housing homes imfamously known as Orange Grove Housing Project-    "the bricks". 

  Around the age of 14, Danielle relocated to Georgia where they remained for 10 years until deciding to move back to Mobile. ."MuZik is life, its what saved me" these words uttered by ShayMuZik gives us an indication of what muzik means to her how it helped her P.U.S.H through the dark moments in her life. ShayMuZik discovered her love for muzik which turned into her passion at an early age, exposed to a variety of artist and genres through her mother her muzikal influences includes, but not limited to country, jazz R&B and hip hop/rap. Artist like Chris Stapleton, Anita Baker, Mary J. Blige, Mint Condition to name a few,  the molodic melodies the vocal arrangment -the lyrics all inspiried and empowered her drive towards her passion and her purpose. ShayMuZik, possesses a unique sound- derived from life lived, love lost, heartbreak, the thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat. Enduring it all overcoming it all helped shape ShayMuZik to an electrifying artist with a stage presence that captivates all demographics 

Destined for greatness,                                                                         ShayMuZik released NO LOVE on 2/28/22 her first indy debut album. 

ShayMuZik has over thirty live on stage performances locally and abroad performing in front of crowds in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi, ShayMuZik was also a guest on the hilarious YouTube series #Nice Guys Finish Last.
