Carolyn drinks her coffee with cream while Stephanie prefers hers black. Stephanie has an affinity for poetry slams and vegetables while Carolyn loves digging into novels and eating BBQ. They both, however, happen to love writing songs.

Growing up, they loved listening to their father compose songs on the piano and guitar.  After many piano lessons and recitals, they began singing publicly as young girls at church and in their high school choirs. Somewhere in their 20s after a few break ups and heartaches, they explored penning their own music. Equally talented at writing music and lyrics, a repertoire of unique songs developed. This led to performing locally at street venues, coffee shops, the Acoustic Female Showcase in Corona, and the Burbank Film Festival. Their love of performing grew as did the dream of recording after playing at Genghis Cohen in West Hollywood.  

Musical influences are a blend of classics from the 70s and popular artists of the day. It includes The Beatles, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Carole King, Pink, Colbie Caillet, and more.
