Scott Mann and the Embers

Scott Mann is a self-taught Musician and Singer-Songwriter whose first musical experience was at the age 17 as lead singer of a high school rock n' roll band. He learned to play guitar at the age of 20, and has been a professional musician since 2001. Releasing two full length independent CD's, "the road as I know it" in 2001, and "Sam's Acoustic Soul" in 2004, "A Memory on Canvas Reissue 2013," and the 4 song EP "The Calling" in 2013. He is currently mixing a 6 song Live EP recorded at a venue here in Fort Worth. With an expected release date of 2018.

They say music runs in the roots. Scott also performs as "Dad's Grace," a duo with 8 year old daughter, Jenna Grace. They recently performed in Nashville at the famed Bluebird Café.  Jenna received quite a bit of fanfare singing around Nashville. While in Nashville they also recorded Jenna's first song, "Stormy Clouds."

Scott is also a long time member of the Fort Worth Songwriters Association, as well as current member of the Nashville Songwriters Association. In recent years Scott has performed at Opening Bell Coffee, The Coffeehouse Cafe, The Foundation Room inside House of Blues, all in Dallas. The Edge Coffeehouse, Shipping & Receiving Bar, and Fort Worth Live, all in Fort Worth. During his career he has toured as far east as Chapel Hill, NC and as far west as San Luis Obispo, CA. His music has been likened to classic sounds of Simon & Garfunkel or modern sounds of Jason Mraz.

Scott Mann and the Embers is a duo with Matt Garnett on the lead guitar providing beautiful accompaniment to Scott's original songs. The primarily perform as duo, but also perform as a 3 or 4 piece band, depending on the occasion. Scott also has a cover song list of over 40 songs that spans 1950's- to the current day. We believe this will be a break out year for the Embers. 

Scott is a self-employed General Contractor and has devoted the last 5 years to growing his business MannMade Construction Services. When he isn’t working or performing he also enjoys volunteering and spending time with his children, Aaron Jude who is 19 and Jenna Grace who is 8.
