Bio
When you hail from a small town that's sandwiched in between Philadelphia and NYC, you live and breathe all elements of hip hop. Being raised within that culture since a very young age, Scoop naturally gravitated to the art of the MC. Looking up to the greats of the time such as Snoop Dogg, Nas, and Eminem, Scoop honed his craft by participating in and winning various talent competitions in his hometown before even taking the music business seriously. His style has been described as "lyrical", "technical", and "figurative". Once he recorded his first song and subsequently was able to get it played on an underground radio station, he decided to pursue music as a career full time. He has since released several projects including his EP, "Ultra", which spawned 3 singles that received radio play in various markets throughout the US and UK. He also co-founded the hip hop conglomerate/fashion brand, Swanky in 2011. He oversees the group's day to day business and serves as their primary audio engineer as well.
