Bio
When you see Sarah Jordan perform you can't help but be swept up by her infectious, sincere enthusiasm and her genuine love of music. The RnB singer from Woodbridge, Ontario draws on influences such as Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera to write honest, vulnerable lyrics and brings these songs to life with a powerful, soulful voice reminiscent of Alicia Keys. The past year Sarah has been connecting with audiences in the Toronto area at venues such as Aspetta Caffe and Graffiti's and at events including the Toronto Waterfront Night Market, The Music City North Kensington Market Festival and The Woodbridge Italian Festival. In 2012 she made it to the Top 20 semifinalist round of Canada's Got Talent. Sarah has devoted her life to making and sharing music. During the day she encourages the next generation of creators and performers as a music teacher for the York Catholic School Board. Sarah recently recorded her first album What Happened to the Love? with producer Michael Evans and is booking shows around Ontario in support of the album.
