This banger has been released today and deserves the front row! Sobriety reflects on the need for Christians to stay away from things that are not good for them. The Bible commands us to remain sober always.
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” – 1 Peter 5:8
“So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:6-8
Living a life of Sobriety can be tough especially when we live in a world where people pressure us to drink, smoke weed and do all sorts of things that leave us out of control. This is not from God and we know this simply by understanding His Holy Spirit.
He never lets you lose control but He gives you self-control (Galatians 5:23).
“This song was literally inspired by my journey of self-development. A while ago I made the decision to remove myself from situations that were not good for my mental health. I believe that one of the unhealthiest things you can do is allow negative energy around you that causes you to act outside of character, driving you back to the things that you are trying to move forward from.” -Sammie King – Sobriety ft. 350
Do yourself a favor and check this good song out, it could be the thing you need to remind you daily to remain sober and ready for Jesus.
