Rocklawn Avenue was started when vocalist Dustin Oerman and drummer Mat Sunday, surviving members of the band Green Castle, decided to take their music in another direction. Sunday took up a guitar after taking on Rob White on drums. This new dynamic added a harder edge to their already heart pumping choruses. Rocklawn really started taking shape when they added former Green Castle members Anthony Kass on lead guitar and Keith Braaten on Bass.
