Bio
The main thing about doing Christian music is variety. The stories may have been told or sung countless times; however, each time is totally different. This is what, by God's grace, I am striving to do. I am not seeking to be a copy of any other recording artist. I am just trying to tell my versions of these oft told stories of the faith-based life. I am just trying to be all that God has created me to be.
My musical influences began while I was quite young. The radio brought me: country & western, R & B, rock, southern gospel, gospel, show tunes, and the classics. Television, added the visual to these influences. Southern churches and school provided structure for my budding talents and garage rock bands gave me a platform. I was really impacted by the early rock bands. I would constantly sit and draw pictures of four and five member rock bands. I also really liked many of the early funk style bands which featured more aggressive vocals, bass, and horns.
The last musical influence in my life was the Latin based sound. This influence has flavored all of the other influences with salsa, tijuana, tex mex, cuban jazz, and many others.
During our stage performances there will be material presented with all of the aforementioned influences. There will be screaming guitar leads, solid and aggressive bass and drums, a grinding rock organ, piano, thumping percussions, and, by God's grace, some in your face lead vocals. There will also be a lot of fun through audience interaction.
Jesus, is my Lord and Savior and He is the reason that I sing, play, and write. He gives me a great amount of joy for my performances. My material reflects my life and things that I have learned or endured from everyday living.
My band members and I would love to come and present our faith-based music at your upcoming event.
