Who the Hell is Woodpile?
NWA Meets Beastie Boys
This May, one of America’s most controversial rap groups (LA Times/CNN) Woodpile, will be
hosting an event titled “Who the Hell is Woodpile?” The event’s purpose is to showcase
the group's upcoming music and fresh new movement.
The invite only Woodpile listening party and private press conference begins Saturday, May
28th, 2016 at 7PM. Hosted by Grammy award winner Jeremy Parker at Premier Studios in
Phoenix, Arizona. This dress to impress red carpet event will unveil the entire unreleased
album “Blood Sweat and Beers”, mixed and mastered by Critical Wood and Jeremy Parker
along with a brandnew
music video titled “Wanna Believe”. The video features an AllStar
Arizona cast of musicians, performers, models, and actors and is produced and directed by
Runar Berntsen of Jackfruit Studios.
For 10 years Woodpile has defied the odds and proven themselves as a force to be reckoned
with in the underground rap scene. With their inyourface
approach and radical lyrics
reminiscent of NWA, Woodpile’s music explodes with a powerful and provocative
message. They want you to “forget the stereotypes and the stigmatisms and believe in a
higher power, even if you can't see it!”. Their latest album “Blood Sweat and Beers” will
catapult them to the top of the mainstream charts. Woodpile’s hauntingly catchy hooks and
original style set them apart as a fresh addition to an entertainment world full of carbon
copies. “Don’t Say It” will be an instant urban radio hit. Simultaneously, “Pendulum” screams
