Bio
Ramsay is an emerging electronic DJ, producer, and musician whose style features bouncy synthesizers, unique drum patterns, and heavy hip hop bass lines. He started pursuing a career in music while attending college at The University of Alabama in 2011. Equipped with a laptop and a 25 key MIDI workstation, Ramsay starting putting together melodies in his dorm room. After one semester, he made a leap of faith in pursuit of his music and transferred to Full Sail University in where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Recording Arts and Production. Blending choppy synths with ticking hi-hats and deep 808s while often taking inspiration from film scores and adapting large orchestral elements into his dance tracks, Ramsay is able to separate himself from the crowd and bring a fresh sound to his fans. In 2018, having adopted the Ramsay moniker, he self-released his debut album "Yesterdayland" which featured the single "Believe" as well as his sophomore album "Levels" featuring 2 singles "Free Fallin" and "Something Amazing". The first single off of his upcoming project appeared on his Soundcloud January 2020, "RMSY". Ramsay promises his fans his newest project will deliver more hip hop undertones and heavier dubstep drops, this is an artist you don't want to overlook.
